Our Eight-Step Guide to Media Predict Mastery

Traditionally in media, a very small percentage of products generate the vast majority of revenue. It's very hard to know what will go on to succeed.

We'll help media companies find stuff people really want. We'll do it with a prediction market game. It may sound crazy, but it works.

In the end we all win. With better predictions, media companies put out better TV shows, music, and more. And you get more stuff you like. All you have to do is play.

1) Register or Login.
 
2) Click on "All Markets" to see what's on offer.
 
3) Click on a market. Look at the price. High prices mean high chances of success. Low prices mean low chances. If an undiscovered book proposal trades at $38, that means users think it has a 38% chance of getting a book deal.
 
4) Ask yourself, "Is the price right?" If you think something is going to take off, you'll buy. If you don't think it will perform well, you'll sell.
 
5) Trade. Click on the appropriate links. Then put your money where your mouth is.
 
6) Watch your investments on the Dashboard. If you make a right prediction, you'll score big. Suppose you predict that a book proposal has a good chance at getting a deal. If you buy shares and it ends up getting signed, then you'll get $100 for every share you bought. But if your prediction is wrong, any shares you bought are worth $0.
 
7) Should I stay or should I go? If you change your mind, you can always bail. Just click on the "close position" button on your dashboard, which keeps track of all of your investments.
 
8) Call the shots on a daily basis. New media products come online all the time.
